Cleaning Plans

Cleaning plans for the next two days include deep cleaning the office today (cleaning the ceiling fans and lights, light switches, walls, pictures on the walls, and the door). Tomorrow I'll clean the house in my regular fashion. I debated and debated all week as whether to clean all doors, all walls, all ceiling fans, etc. or to just go right into deep cleaning one room a week. The deep cleaning one room a week allows me to keep up with my routine housework more easily and to get some sewing done as well. So that is the plan. Even at that I should still have the house deep cleaned well before Christmas. I'll also get to go at it at a slower pace. I'm tired of being tired and never getting to rest. Slower at least allows me to not be worn out.

The other way, I'm afraid the house will look like a dump before I'm finished getting all of it cleaned. Life's too short and I'm too tired. Nothing is really that dirty anyway since I have been cleaning so well every weekend since the end of spring. That has become one of my better decisions because I can clean the house really well without worrying about working around homeschool lessons or spring and summer mowing days. And I can work in the extra stuff like cleaning windows, inside closets and cabinets, and the basement/garage as needed without a whole lot of hassle.

I'm planning on working the basement into my schedule next week. Give everything a good dusting down there and straighten it up once more. Everything is scattered about again. I'm so strange being that I really like for things to at least look neat and orderly even in the storage area.

Enough boring for today. I was hoping to have time to tell you my ghost story also today but I had to pay bills so that took up most of my morning before logging in to the blog. Now it's time to start work and lessons. I'll try to get in early tomorrow morning to tell you the story.

Have a great day!
